Guest Speaker: Fortin Jean-Pierre, Director of Workforce Development, Broward College

Fortin Jean-Pierre serves as the Director of Workforce Development for Broward College. Fortin oversees the college’s career centers with the primary goal of helping students transition from the classroom to the workforce. He also conducts labor market research to support the college with viable programs that align with the workforce and serves as the Project Lead in the development of new programs. Fortin is also active in the South Florida community, building partnerships with local organizations to help provide a pipeline of skilled graduates for employers to recruit from. Fortin holds an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Florida Atlantic University.
