MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT / SERVICE COMMITMENT PLEDGE

MY ROLE:

I acknowledge that my primary role as a member is to contribute to the defining of the organization’s mission by adhering to the bylaws.

MY COMMITMENT:

I will act in a manner to enhance and maintain the reputation of the organization.
 

I PLEDGE:

  1. To always act for the good of the organization, focusing my efforts on supporting the vision, mission and goals of the Chamber.
  1. To work with and respect the opinions of other members, and to leave my personal prejudices out of all Chamber events.
  1. To represent this organization in a positive, dignified and supportive manner at all times and in all places, considering myself as a representative of this organization.
 
  1. To treat other members, Chamber staff members and other volunteers with respect and courtesy.
  1. To represent equitably and fairly the interests of all businesses, organizations and people served by the Chamber.
  1. To comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations applying to non-profit organizations, the Bylaws and the terms adopted by the Board.
  1. Minimize risk of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce by agreeing with the antitrust policy statement which reads:
The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce (CSCCRCOC) is organized for the purpose stated above and not intended to, and may not, play any role in the competitive decisions of its members or their employees, or in any way restrict the competition in any aspect of the business community. The CSCCRCOC through this statement of policy makes it clear its unequivocal support for the policy of competition served by the anti-trust laws and its uncompromising intent to comply strictly in all respects with those laws. It is the individual responsibility of every member of the chamber to be guided by the anti-trust laws. It shall be the responsibility of committee, chairpersons and Chamber officers to assure that this policy is known and adhered to in the course of activities pursued under their leadership. It is not the Chamber's role to act as an arbiter or judge of competitive conduct of its members. As such, this statement of antitrust policy is not a mechanism through which members should charge another member with alleged illegal action.
